Sunset at Garry's Anchorage

We had any number of turtles and dolphins sharing the anchorage with us, and of course dingoes. After a few days we understood quite a bit about the lives of the local dingoes. One in particular was on “the outer” and regularly chased away by what I presume to be the alpha male. A colony of flying foxes lives in the nearby tress. Each night just after sunset we were treated to their departure. There were definitely millions of them in the skies over the anchorage. Sunsets are spectacular. The smoke pall is from the burning of the sugar cane.
Next stop Big Woody Island and then Bundaberg for a few days of re-provisioning.
